Founded by four Hispanic leaders whose families grew up in medically under-served regions of the United States and Mexico, EMHF is deeply rooted in a legacy of service. Together, they represent a proud and growing network of 34 aunts and uncles, 147 cousins – and counting – who share a commitment to helping those in need. This extended family includes doctors and doctorates, architects, actresses, engineers, entrepreneurs, executives, mechanics, and maintenance workers. Despite geographic boundaries, they maintain strong relationships, especially in times of crisis. Their family history is their bond—and that bond is their strength.
EMHF is committed to strengthening emergency management programs both nationally and locally, ensuring they are equipped to meet the unique needs of vulnerable populations with compassion, efficiency, and resilience. As a recognized IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we work to heighten awareness and respect for those who serve, and support medically under-served communities.
